Talking with my wife, I was saying "let's talk about alternatives to the stock market for making money." She said "I like the stock market." I said "how much money do you expect to make this year?"

She said "you know, it's interesting. They were talking about a study, and people who predicted how much they would make did better than people who didn't. I predict I'll make $100,000." She got this from her TV shows.

I thought, pph, you're just making that up, but I didn't say it.

"What?" she said. "What kind of alternative."

Thinking it over carefully, I said "Blogging."

When she pressed me I told her about beadle glitter and beadle glitter live.

She looked at some posts on her phone, and said "Well, it does look better, but how is this going to make you money? How much money are you gonna make blogging this year." I thought it over quite a bit, and finally, at a loss for any better answer, said "Ten million dollars."


She made a motion, as if to say "See, I told you," but she somehow looked approving.
