a vast inflow of resources.
begin with James Renouf telling me to get on SnapChat, which sounds right, which sounds like a version of live social media. this has me looking at Android Emulators, so i don't need to buy a phone, concluding in the end that this one (google: AMIDuOS Review )is the best, and it sure sounds intriguing, though i'm also afraid.
a tweet. i kind of don't like it - i guess i'm jealous -, but it talks about how to sell a company, so i sure am interested. first, you need to be an llc or corporation.
how do i register an llc in ...?
very good page to know about
what kind of corporation should i create?
excellent

shows
while i'm on the topic of Blogger, why can't i edit posts in the blog? are you telling me that can't be set up?! by the way you can edit the sidebar in the blog, but not the posts. that's kind of backwards, if anything.
frankly, i don't mind going to the editor to edit posts that much. what is really getting me is i can't edit LABELS from the blog. without that i'm really limited when it comes to creating shows.

evolution
the thing i can't do effectively on Blogger is create a show.
the function of posts is so essential, little pieces of content that can be assembled into shows, or could be ... one way or another you need to do it ... but in Blogger you can't move or copy things ... posts ... from one place to another
you can create pages using labels ... different pages out of one blog ... but it's quite difficult. well, it's still the starting place.
it's time to move my labels into the side bar

dilly dallying all day. it really is a kind of scandal. and yet, so productive and enjoyable.
this morning, quite on impulse and without much hesitation at all i bought a kind of white paper on Snapchat
Social App Secrets Exposed by James Renouf
had to work my way through a whole bunch of pages to do it, had to solve a couple of problems, but, you know what, working your way through pages is easy. it may take some thought, but just sit there and think about it. when you're ready, try something. it sort of unfolds before you.
I am not displeased. Mind you, I'm in a particular situation. I'm actively investigating social media and social media marketing. I went for the whole package - that's about $30, $40 - thinking it over carefully, not that that could have stopped me, once I launched in, but at least now i really know what my reasoning was.
Snapchat looks perfect for me. I'm streaming my day here, but without an audience. I totally get the power of that, though.
I'll have to invest part of a grand in hardware to get Snapchat. Oh, no, wait, I just watched a YouTube about how to get it on a PC. Still, I sure would like to visit that Apple store. No phone plan! This is strictly data.
the first part was an e book. i was a little taken aback beause it was just a pdf, and it wasn't even long, like he's giving a talk. very worthwhile, though, for me, as an internet marketer. now i think i bought a video, so, we'll see what that's like. and then i bought access to a Facebook Group. i thought it was going to be super expensive and a tough decision, but it was cheap. so, we'll see where that gets me.
my few interactions with WarriorPlus have been very positive. are you a Warrior?

surging
the thing is i'm going through a folder of old screenshots, looking for an item that might be in there, and i'm finding all these stock charts i saved when i was using this folder, a few months back. here and there one is catching my eye. who knows when i'll look at these again, so i can do something positive by moving selected charts into this live section of my cloud.
i wondered if i had missed the boat on this one.
but, no, it's still down and behaving nicely.
it's making bottoms, wide shallow ones, and at higher levels than it did before (when the bottom was more spiky). this pattern is called a surge. now, just because it's surging doesn't mean it won't go down, next, and if it does it will tend to stay down for a while. what the surge means is it's got some substance to it. it could make a splash some time. remember we are only buying a little. if it goes down we buy a little more. it would be nice to know exactly when it's ready to splash, and i'm not saying it would be impossible to figure that out ... well, it might be. The pattern right now is distinctive, but i give it only a 50% chance of producing an immediate splash. To put it another way, it has a 30% chance of making a splash, a 30% chance of going sideways, and a 30% chance of going down. That looks like a non prediction but a) not every stock has a thirty percent chance of making a splash within days, and then, b) not every stock has a 30% chance of going down, and, too, i'm not talking about down a little. remember how NETE went down 80% on me? this is the nature of the prediction, and that's why i'm telling you to be very careful and only invest delicate amounts. read the previous post.
a splash. i predict a splash ... to 8. then a dip, back to 3. it's an insane thought. long term is the way to make real money ... but i feel so impatient!
what about the fundamentals?
they're well established in a certain line of business. it's actually a fairly large company. they're consistently losing a little money - this over the last several years. book value is decent. what's their line of business? well, it's kind of interesting and it does sound quite professional ... and, well, glamorous. fundamentals kind of support the idea that it could make a splash ... and seem to suggest it's not too risk and that it's good for the long term.

that's a very energetic pattern ... the last 20 bars. of course, the last bar is nascent ...

i really want to thank FinViz for these charts. they're terrific.

splash
I already own a few hundred shares. I think I bought them at $1 and now they're down 80%.
I bought because of the chart. I remember I really liked it. I still really like it but I'm thinking more carefully about why.
Basically I see this going to 10 again ... some time this year, maybe? next year, maybe? ... and then back to zero again.
I checked the fundamentals.
I actually like this company. What they do sounds important, and it sounds like they're good at it. They're selling a lot more than they were three years ago - still a tiny business, but up significantly. They're losing money at a fair clip, though less of a clip than three years ago, so there's a positive twist to that as well.
I stand by my prediction. These guys don't have enough momentum to take over the world, and when that becomes obvious the market will abandon their stock, and it'll go back to zero for a long time, but the market is right to support them now. They're doing good work. They are also able to make their case to the market. That's what pushed the stock up to so much higher levels for a considerable period - all of 2013, I mean, anyway. And it certainly jumped up there. That's called a splash. Somehow they made one. My gut tells me they're good for another one in this episode.
It's certainly tempting to study this chart closely. If we could just catch two splashes of the sort shown here, in a year, we could do very well. And the chart from 2009 to 2012 is the exact kind of chart we would expect to see before a splash. What type of chart is that? Hmm. Over a four year period, small splashes - but a splash is a splash - a splash is instantaneous - separated by wide, shallow troughs. More precisely what we can see is a set of splashes, a wide shallow trough, another set of splashes, and another trough forming ... and with a surging quality to it. Looking for that kind of chart we could catch a splash.
Will every such chart produce a splash? Will every such chart produce a splash this big? Who know? Not me. If you're starting out, try to catch splashes with $100 investments. If you catch one right away you'll then have a couple of thousand dollars in free investment money (though you'll have to pay taxes on your gain, don't forget). And if one of those investments after another is a bust, you're still only out a few hundred dollars. That's the risk and reward on this system.

what to do (old)
What to do, what to do?
Trying to document the news, which is the newspaper. Managed one page.
Part of the problem is this is private, parts of it, just my memories. But it should be going to the cloud. Near Cloud. My Cloud. What is the Cloud?

prediction
i think it's gonna pull back for a bit, now, but only to 5, so selling at 7 gets you no advantage. it would be another chance to buy. this is a hold right up to 40, no, 45. then maybe it's a sell, maybe not. but we have to be prepared to wait. for an example of a real bottom, look at the early part of the chart! i say it could go sideways more again ... but i don't know. that's we buy these whenever prices are low. still haven't checked the fundamentals. the updating chart is: two posts down.
scrolling
in the course of my investigations today i have seen three autoscrolling pages, sort of, in addition to this one. no. the one expanded, and did it smoothly, but why should it expand? the others, you felt like there was a limit.
the scroll bar is terrible for moving around a long scroll. i mean, it does work, and it's what we've got, and it's even great, but, no.
i don't care if i've got a million posts, or even a trillion, the scroll bar should show them all ... and, in fact, it sometimes does. true, the browser won't display a trillion posts ... and it should! that's the way to display them: as a scroll bar. then you show the post at a given location on that, and the posts above it, and the posts below it ...
sure, the position indicator on a one billion post scroll bar won't move even a little as you scroll through the scroll. that doesn't matter. there are all sorts of things you can do with a scroll bar to help people navigate.

random
this was simply the biggest mover today

let's assume you bought some in May at 5, bought more in August at 3, bought again under 3 in November, and at 2.25 in December, and at just over 2 in January, and tomorrow you will sell at 7 ... ok, that last would be stupid ... hold it! i wonder what the fundamentals are like?

20 is sort of the next test. (today it reacted off of 9.) i wonder what the fundamentals are like?

paradise
my ankles were actually freezing
shopping on line for mobile mechanics. god how weird.
it's starting to get sunny, though. life in paradise.

i can list ideas but what about something to make me money today? nope.
what about to get me readers and get them to send me comments and questions?
well, i have an angle on that, at least. scroll down to "help".
at the top of the page https://localmotors.com/ is the link "make your mark". sounds good.
half way down the make your mark page is the invitation:
crimmeny, i just copied something in toto from somebody's web site into my blog. it just zapped itself in, here.
what happens if i click that?
well, not much, but it's an education.
i could apply to help.
don't know if this link will work here, but from another local motors page it took me directly to a "yes I can help" button.
i was afraid to click that. what would i find? and won't they just say i'm completely unqualified?
i clicked it and was invited to log in ... or create an account. yup, i saw one of those buttons earlier.

disagreement
browsers need to cache everything
and keep it forever
it's as simple as that
this idea horrifies ordinary establishment techies
suddenly you have a million copies of a file
where you could make do with just one for everybody
on the face of it it looks like a bloated scheme
the bloat, if you want to call it that, is completely obvious
anyone can see it in an instant, and you will see it, and you will see it first
the justification for it is more subtle
it comes down to being a debate between the obvious and the subtle
which of them is valid?
php
as a demonstration (and test):
create a web hosting account
create a home page
add to it a log-on or log-in
once logged in you get to add, remove, and move images
i'm gonna say there's one kind of file that's required to make this happen
php
i would write some php
put it in files at my domain, my web hosting account
and
that's it
index.php would do certain things when called
what are they?
how do i define that?

i am limited in my imagination to taking steps towards that. not good. something?

more
More nuttiness. Now I'm thinking about setting up to make brass bolt plates for door locks. Well, I've got the brass. Now I need ...
Dale Carnegie. If I could cut chunks off a a massive steel plate, a one incher, for people ... it would sit on some kind of powerful bench, the edge hanging over, and I could cut it with a hand saw, custom fit.
Can't help it.
