I can create a kind of book of 7000 stock chart ... but its usefulness is quite limited.

What would make it more useful would be the ability to sort from the list to other list. For example, there are stock that are up and stocks that are down. In general if I'm buying I want a stock that's down. If I could press a button and add a stock I'm looking at to the list of stocks that are down then in short order I could review all the stocks and create a list just of ones that are down. A simple expedient with a lot of power, potentially.
